ACBLmedic: Restoring Bridgemate–ACBLscore Compatibility on Windows 11

ACBLmedic is a patch utility that repairs Bridgemate compatibility with ACBLscore after a Windows 11 update broke the connection.

ACBLmedic is a patch utility that resolves a compatibility problem between Bridgemate scoring units and ACBLscore on Windows 11. Per ACBL, starting September 9 some Bridgemates may stop working with ACBLscore on Windows 11 computers because of Microsoft's Windows Update KB5064081. ACBLmedic updates ACBLscore so the score-entry devices keep working. Source: ACBLmedic / getscore.

How to run it#

  1. Download ACBLmedic from the getscore page.
  2. Run the downloaded executable on the affected Windows 11 computer.
  3. Confirm/allow the action if Windows, your antivirus, or your browser asks for permission to proceed.
  4. Let the program finish the update process.

After it completes, ACBLscore should again communicate with your Bridgemates normally.
