Becoming a Certified Club Director
The Club Director certification course qualifies you to direct club and bridge-cruise games; it is a two-day online program with a test.
The Club Director certification qualifies you to direct games at ACBL clubs and on bridge cruises. It is the entry point into ACBL directing.
Format#
The course is a comprehensive two-day online program delivered over Zoom, running 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Eastern each day. Study materials are available through Baron Barclay Bridge Supply. The cost is $75, which includes the certification test.

Staying current#
Already-certified directors can take a recorded Club Director Update Course that covers changes in ACBL Laws and Regulations. It is available free online and is the recommended way to refresh your knowledge between courses.
