Local Sectional Director Certification
The next step up from Club Director: a self-study course, with optional tutor sessions and an online exam, that qualifies you to direct Local Sectional tournaments.
The Local Sectional Director certification qualifies you to direct Local Sectional tournaments. It is a step up from club directing and builds on that foundation.
Prerequisite#
You must already hold Club Director or Tournament Assistant certification before enrolling.
Format#
The course is primarily self-directed study using written materials that are provided to you. It includes:
- Three tutor-led Q&A sessions over Zoom (optional but recommended).
- A four-week study period before the final exam.
- An online exam with a 24-hour completion window; the passing grade is 70%.
Class size is limited to 40 students per course.
