Half tables#

With a half table, run the movement you're most comfortable with. If you use a sit-out for the half table, make the phantom East/West so players are always at the table with the boards. Example: 14½ tables with a sit-out — move the boards as if it were a 15-table game.

Very small games#

If you expect five tables or fewer, make up your boards ahead of time so players can get the optimum number of hands and opponents using a Howell movement.
