ACBL Code of Disciplinary Regulations (CDR)

The Code of Disciplinary Regulations (CDR) is the American Contract Bridge League's formal, comprehensive regulation setting out the disciplinary process and structure. Its stated purpose is to provide a fair hearing to every person — ACBL member or non-member — charged with a disciplinary infraction in connection with ACBL-sanctioned activity.
The CDR is the authoritative source for:
- the disciplinary bodies that have jurisdiction and how charges are brought;
- the conduct of hearings and the rights of the person charged;
- the range of sanctions that may be imposed; and
- the appeal process.
Who it applies to: ACBL members, and non-members who participate in ACBL-sanctioned events.
