About the bylaws#
The bylaws of the American Contract Bridge League set out the structure of the organization: membership classes, the districts and units, the Board of Directors, officers, and the meetings and voting that govern the League.
Amending the bylaws#
Bylaw amendments are made by the Board of Directors under the procedure the bylaws themselves prescribe, and are recorded in the Board of Directors record. Standing policy adopted under the bylaws is maintained in the Codification.
Districts and units#
The League is organized into districts, each made up of units. District and unit officers have resources of their own within Governance, including the officer digest that summarizes each Board meeting.
