What to confirm and prepare in the days before a tournament session.

The day before#
- Confirm the schedule and start times against the sanctioned event list.
- Check that ACBLscore is set up with the correct event ratings and stratification.
- Test the Bridgemate units and the movement cards you expect to use.
- Print entry slips, appeal forms, and a copy of the Conditions for the event.
At the table#
Post the movement and strat boundaries where players can see them. Announce the round length and any special conditions. The strat boundaries may not change after the first board is played — see the Conditions of Contest 5.4 — Stratification.
If something goes wrong#
Have the appeals process ready in case a ruling is contested, and keep the Laws of Duplicate Bridge to hand for points of law.
